Define your movement has some of the best space for all your fitness classes I have been in. It's bright, welcoming and homely, everything you want, especially if you are new to the class and need to feel at ease. I take dance fit classes with Jennie the owner of the company and honestly you will leave feeling a new person. The energy she radiates is unmatched. If you need a new studio to go to this is the one!
Jennie is a ray of sunshine and an exceptional teacher. She teaches safety within her movement, she listens and learns your body individually delivering you classes built for you. Her dance classes are fun, high energy and they bring a great atmosphere. Already have a little family growing there.
An ex professional dancer with over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, Jennie brings an exceptional understanding of movement, technique and the body to everything she teaches. Her background as a performer, Personal Trainer and specialist in pre and postnatal fitness and training for older adults gives her a wealth of experience across different bodies, abilities and stages of life.
Known for her meticulous eye for technique, Jennie has an instinctive ability to see how a body moves, identify what needs attention and adapt training to help each individual progress towards their goals. Her teaching combines precision and challenge with a genuinely warm and inclusive approach, ensuring everyone feels comfortable, capable and supported.
Pilates has been a constant throughout Jennie's own career, helping her build strength, maintain balance and protect her body through years of professional dance. Today, that experience sits at the heart of Define Your Movement and her belief that intelligent, purposeful movement can transform not only how your body performs, but how you feel within it.
Zoe is an experienced yoga teacher whose passion lies in Yin Yang Yoga, a unique and harmonious approach that brings together two distinct styles of practice, sometimes explored separately and sometimes beautifully combined.
Inspired by the Five Element Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the meridian system, nature and the changing seasons, Zoe's teaching uses the ancient principles of Yin and Yang to explore balance within both the body and mind. Her classes create space to move, breathe, slow down and reconnect, balancing strength and energy with stillness and restoration.
Thoughtful, knowledgeable and deeply passionate about her practice, Zoe brings intention to every class she teaches. Whether guiding a more dynamic flow or allowing the body to settle into longer, restorative holds, her sessions offer an opportunity to step away from the noise of everyday life and experience yoga as something deeper than simply movement.
